The addition of mint makes this lemonade more refreshing, cool and sweet drinks. Pudina or mint leaves are stapling produce in my kitchen. I have organic mint growing in my balcony garden and I use it in various ways. Apart from using it as a garnish, I use it in chutneys, pulao, mint raita, mint chas, sharbat recipes, juice recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 cup water
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice in to a bowl.
  • Take blending jar, add lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, and water.
  • Blend it well for flavours to infuse.
  • Fill the glass with few ice cubes and pour juice.
  • Garnish with mint springs and lemon slice and serve.

  • You can add a pinch of chat masala or black salt to enhance the flavour.
  • You can replace water with soda water.
  • Also, you can replace sugar with honey or jaggery powder.
  • Lemon mint blended very smoothly so I have not filtered, if necessary you can filter.

  • Add fresh mint leaves.
  • Further sugar for sweetness. You can replace it with honey or jaggery.
  • Blend it well for flavors to infuse.
  • Fill the serving glass with few ice cubes and pour juice. Garnish with mint springs and lemon slice.
