Pick some fresh holy basil leaves and wash them under running water. Keep it aside.
Take a mortar pestle, take ½ tsp of peppercorns and 3 cloves and crush into a rough powder, keep it aside.
In a saucepan, take 2 cups of water and add 5 holy basil leaves and prepared pepper - clove spice mix, also add ½ tsp of turmeric powder.
Mix well, boil for 2 - 3 minutes or until flavours are absorbed well.
Strain the drink and add 1 tsp of honey and stir well.
